Hi Everybody,
Here is a nice little story;
Over the years My son Brigham, has been on the recieving end of a few Busse's and other cool knives, but he had never actually purchased one.
So around his 16th birthday he saw the postings of the HG 55 and he had seen the military over run that I had got.
Well for his birthday he got cash from a few relatives, so instead of spending it on whatever 16 year olds spend money on now a days he gave it to me & said "I want to order a Busse ! Here is a down payment 185.00 (all his B-day money)"
Every day for almost a month he asks "did a package come ?"
I tried explaining the whole 2 weeks thing to him ??
But being a teenager he did not quite get it, because when it had been two weeks he said "well ?" so I had to explain what two weeks was in Busse language.
Amy has been awesome by the way through all this she would tell me how things are going & give me an update when I needed it.
Half way through I had an idea since it was his first Busse he bought with his own money why not make it special.
So one the oposite side of the logo we had his name engraved, Amy I can not thank you enough for this.
You should have seen his eyes light up when he saw the surprise.
Yesterday he came in the shop & said "I want to make a sheath for my knife we have a scout fishing trip this weekend & I want to carry my Busse."
He wanted to know what color would look nice. He got a sage blade with a Tan (sorry for the mistake) canvas micarta handle so I thought Desert Tan would look cool, he agreed & started making it, rather we started making it
We pressed it he lined the holes up (twice, he did not get them quite right the first time, but the were on the inside so no biggy) he drilled the holes & shaped the sheath, I did a little treaking then he put the eyelets in & pressed them. I looked great.
He wanted a wind so that you could see his name when the knife was in the sheath, I did that for him
.
When it was all done he put his BBB brand in it. chip off the ol' block I think.
I will have him take a camera with him this weekend so he can take pics.
Here are a few pics of the knife & Buy Brigham Brown sheath
P.S. Amy & the Busse Crew Brigham & I thank you.
