You know what they say about beauty being in the eye of the beholder.
Some will love these, others will hate them.
One thing for sure, they definitely get noticed.

These blocks are Buckeye Burl that I had professionally dyed and stabilized by K&G.

That's some serious green.
Green's my favorite color, and I've been looking for some buckeye burl scales for a little while, but that's because I think the blues and grays will complement a nicely patina'd carbon blade.
Not sure what I'd put something so green on, but the top right would probably look sharp with some yellow liners.
Hmmm.

the links dont appear to be working Mark. takes me to your store but says no results found

I think I have it fixed now.

Myself, I am not overly fond of either of these colors.
But.......if I don't have any green or orange people always ask for it.
So I do up a small batch once in a while.

Not sure if I will do purple again though. That was just weird.

A few of the green ones have gone away but still some left.

Ive had some maple and madrone dyed green by these guys and it has a super cool effect, sure its the same with these guys. Will make some great looking handles on the right blade.

Yep, I've been wanting green for camouflage style knives; will even make the leather sheaths green. I think they'd be cool with archers. etc. Unfortunately I'm in the middle of moving and flat out broke and over extended so will have to pass yet again on the wood.

Mark dont give the purple away, have been waiting for you to put some more up, they come up awesome as handles!!!!
