This new one you're talking about appears to be a stamped out slab with a piece of plastic added to each side of the handle.
That's the most cost-effective way to make a knife, so it should be very affordable.
But the market for this type of military knife is clearly a small, niche market and with all the other more complex and showy Rambo knives (made dirt cheap in China) this knife WILL have tough competition if they decide to make it.
It would be a hard sell. Your advertising blitz here on the Buck Forum for the knives and your books will help, but......to me this looks like it's just a slab with none of the mystique of the original Buckmaster.
