Bring back the Rock Lobster! Please?

So some may know most may not. I love the rock lobster! I had one and it was lost and got another and recently have had to pass on a few that were for sale due to the fact of well I'm broke right now...lol! I would like to see these reappear again maybe in a salt version and a spyderedge version! I won't ask for a super steel or differen color handles. I would just like it to return at some point ! Am I the only one? Probably..lol. But hey it's worth a try!
 
I would love to get one. Got into Spydercos too late to get one at sane prices.

A v2 with handle tweaks would be great. Or just make this available (and give M Slysz his 3rd knife):

One on the Bay right now (well 2 actually but one from Italy is wayyyyyy to stupid priced IMHO) anyway - one with 16 bids ending today. The bid jumped from $148.00 to & $185.00 overnight. I suspect it will end up much higher. I decided not to play on this one. Available on the river for stupid money too.

It's a funny subject. I personally loved the "Rock Lobster" as do many that I know. Unfortunately the model, as made, didn't do well. Might have been the G-10 color, or maybe it needed a formed handle (like the custom above), or maybe it was the price, which was high. If we made it again with the same maker, it would be even more expensive now.

Eric and I have discussed making the model in China, as our Dutch distributor (honest, reliable long term parter) has been asking for a similar concept, but at a more affordable price. His requests are coming from his cuistomers wanting an outdoor picnic knife and felt this style was the best.

Handle shape and clip weren't that good for me. Everything else was good. In the end I preferred the Millie and sold the Lobster. The Catcherman is Imho a much better kitchen design and a lot cheaper to make (MBS-26 please)

Love the size, anso grooved scales would provide much more grip similar to the Zulu. There were some pictures of a modified handle that essentially removed the finger slot and had a smooth arc to the scale without detracting from the look. I suspect that would fit everyones hands as opposed to only certain hands. Oh and Sal I am a big fan.

My first Rock Lobster traveled with me all over and never left me until I got my a$$ handed too me in afganastan and when I woke up I had no rock lobster and no Busse steel heart! I was crushed! Now I got another lobster and well a few busse's. But if the lobster comes back I'm buying atleast 4! Don't care about price!

FYI, Spyderco was a preferred supplier for the America cup winner. We supplied knives for all of the sailors for safety reasons, as well as the chase boats for the same reasons. The Chase boat had a Temperance 2 strapped to the console. The head guy on the chase boats had to have a Rock Lobster for himnself. we chased one down for him.
