I wouldnt mind getting the latest and greatest Photoshop, but I have yet to really tap the potential of 7.0, so there is not much point IMO.

Agreed. I have tried the suite Adobe put out 2 years ago. I went back to said PS and Macromedia Freehand MX.

It is all the same basically, just a few little things added. The interface is essentially the same. (as it is with all Adobe graphics programs, one reason I love them)

Even the trial version of Photoshop 7, CS2 (?), and Elements 4 are like 350+ megs. Is there anything else out there that I can use to tweak photos that isn't so friggin' big?

350 megs isn't so big. . . are you on an ancient computer, or just on dialup?

I would pull my hair out and shoot my computer if I was on dialup.

-I haven't looked for any software like that, so I have no idea what is out there.

You could leave it downloading while you are out of town or something, and pray it doesnt get screwed up, or maybe you could download it at the library and burn it onto a disc?
