I'm so in love with the porky parkway and other small Busse knives with massively thick blades. The off duty may be more attainable but at .38, I would be settling. So I posted in Garths grail thread and found lots of support. As we all know, Busse loves to please the customer and makes the best knife money can buy. So let's see if we can gather some interest in a thicker than thick small wonder, it will be custom shop all the way, but I'd pay whatever asked.....

Any hogs out there feel the same?

I'm in, could get ahold of Garth for a special run of a few like they did for the forum members ashs a while back. I'm sure there's some scrap left over from the moabms!!

A little something to keep you company while you wait :D

I know these thick blades don't cut well. But I find myself wanting one. Indestructible, thick and able to be carried for edc is my grail knife.

I just bought one, I wish like hell it was .25 or something. I don't think that would do well as a super fatty at .3 or something but a .25, I'd be all over it too. Good call

I like the .25 ^^^ idea on a AMS
Wouldn't mind seeing a SOB Fatty or Boss Street Fatty, either deep hollow ground :)
But if an order is being contemplated for these, please keep me in the loop I'd be interested

Just out do curiosity, why do you folks want a short blade that thick? They can't really slice well and they're too small to ever need that thickness. Is it just for fun?

I've abused the hell out of an AMS and never once broke or bent it. If Busse fattened up that blade, all of see it doing is ruining the cutting ability of the knife and not benefiting durability at all.

I don't mean to be the wet blanket, I totally get having a knife just be cause, I'm just curious if there is a practical reason. If you're worried about breaking your AMS as is...lol, good luck! She's a tank!

I don't think it's based on practicality. But more the looks. Either way, I want one. :)
