Bring on the porky parkway.... or any large stock small knife

Just out do curiosity, why do you folks want a short blade that thick? They can't really slice well and they're too small to ever need that thickness. Is it just for fun?

I've abused the hell out of an AMS and never once broke or bent it. If Busse fattened up that blade, all of see it doing is ruining the cutting ability of the knife and not benefiting durability at all.

I don't mean to be the wet blanket, I totally get having a knife just be cause, I'm just curious if there is a practical reason. If you're worried about breaking your AMS as is...lol, good luck! She's a tank!

It's the look all the way

I am in for a Porky Parkway. I have a Fatty Game Warden and love it... But the Porky is just more...

I'm waiting for the Lean Pork. It's a small Busse chisel grind knife.
what do ya think, Jerry?

There is a certain faction here that sees too much of a good thing as just right. Jerry's knives tend to be overbuilt and able to take almost anything that you throw at them or that you throw them at. Them he'll sometimes offer a HOG (Heavy Ordnance Grade) version that's even thicker because some folks want a sharpened section of INFI that, in its raw form, might be mistaken for a bridge girder brace. What was just shown with, was it 0.41" stock? The MOABM was it? Take a few blanks and turn them into HAMS: Heavy Anniversary Mean Streets.
Come on Jerry! Sharpened INFI railroad spikes for all almost all that want them.
Pete

There is a line forming, the mean street is not at the top of my list but could be cool. The parkway is the ticket.... Gotta get me one

But he's done the Porky Parkway. He's gotta do something else. Its how Jerry rolls.
Pete

I hear ya..... I'm free to want what I want.... I'd gladly buy one from any forum member. They aren't coming forward so.... To Jerry and Garth I will speak.... I just want to have something like .415 with a small blade on it. The MOAB and giant Busse don't do much for me. I have a ASHBM, couldn't imagine needing anything bigger but a thick chunk of infi with bruiser g10, I'm changing my pants.... To excited again....

Same reason on the moabm lol... just because! Lol

The HACKs weren't too pricey but the Key Lardos and Porkey Parkways were absurd. Guess if you gotta have one, you'll pony up. Thanks but, I'll pass.

If anybody wants to sell a inactive duty, key lardo, or off duty, porky parkway anything over .25 and under 9" OAL, please let me know

The deep hollow grinds can leave a really thin tip. I would have loved my SLUT Street but thick as it was, it didn't seem like there was any point to it with the ultrathin tip. I do miss it sometimes though. I think 0.20 is the absolute thickest I would ever want in something 4" or less, unless it was really tall
