More "users" than "beaters", but here goes:

Man those A2's are sweet

Their handles are hard to rival.

Yaa, and I just had to keep going on to Dwayne about how the older straight handles were the best thing to ever come out of Wauseon. No longer can I try to scarf them up in quiet, I have to watch out for the Texas Hog.

Dwayne, didn't I tell you they would become your favorites? Enjoy my friend.

Rob

Thanks for the kind words Nick, these five get used pretty consistantly, and I do so love the smooth handles on the older knives. Those A2's really come in handy when you need the extra weight, and since they were already marked up when I got them theres no worries making a few more! :)

Hey Wet, good to hear you made it through the "Texas cool breeze" ;) And yep, you done messed up and got me constantly sniffing out that nice fat A2:D:D And as promised I finally did use that BAe! It took me a while and a nice large breath. I just held my breath and took a chop at the hardwood! AAAACK! The deed is done an I now feel much better, lol! No more minty fresh Busse's for me!!!!!! Its just too hard to make that first mark!

Andrew, you are totally correct! Those handles are the ultimate! The rounded profile and smooooooth texture make for a nice comfy feel. btw send me a mail, I owe you some sheathing designs. :D:D:D

Hey Skunk, that Battle Mistress has handles that match my INFI SHSH II!!!!!!! I would dearly love to have a matching pair!!!!! Hmmmmmm, getting evil plans together, ie that thing we were talking of a "few" weeks ago. wink wink nudge nudge say no more........;)

one of the quickest ways to make a safequeen/pretty knife a beater/user - modify it

and sometimes, you can even mod a mod  :D (smooth micarta that came with it made into textured micarta)

and just to show what a difference camera angle can make, heres the satin jack flat to the camera, and then tilted towards the lens. the choil has bee sharpened on the foward part  (edc will probably soon be the 1/4" LE saber edition of this knife, same choil mod)

man i loved this ice pick... it did away with many a cardboard box, and beat the crap out of our poor freezer :( (note, when using these ice picks on a freazer - use the butt to break the ice, no one wants a punctured freezer wall  )

Josh, how do you keep getting pics of my AD Variant???

How many more you got?? LMAO....

I'd hate to see how you'd modify the Bird 'n' Trout...

dremel sanding drums take off metal really fast...
a little to fast :(
with the 1/4 im just gonna use my edgepro on it. the choil is a really thin part of the knife, even if its a really thick knife. now, were it bos heat treated bg-42, i would be crying out of frustration and fatigue within about 2 hours, with very little results....

rebeveling that police recruit only took like 10 minutes where with every other busse ive had its taken about 20-25.... wich makes me wonder if its infi or a2 (not that it matters on that knife  :D )....

Those are some great pics you guys. I can't believe out of all the folks here there are not some more users out there. Geez you guys just have safe queens or what? :p

Nick

One of these days when I get some time, I'll get some user pics up. I don't have a ton, but the ones I do user are showing it a little. Damn things are so tough, it is hard to make them look used without too many hours on them. :D
