MY friend Mark and I went HOG killing today .We got two hogs ,mine was close to 100lb sow.Just what I wanted. Mark shot a 225-250lb boar .It wieghs more than mark and I do.Pics are pretty grafic . Enjoy .Gerry the first pic is Hogwire .This is where HOGWIRED came from,that is hog hair in the wire. Going to be a great eater may post a pic of a roast later.

used the AD to dress them out .Hellrazor for breaking bones ,I use a 7mm 08' which is a necked down 308 .My buddy Mark used a 30-30 with the new advantage Hornaby round .He shot his in the shoulder never came out other side . My shot was a facing neck shot that broke a shoulder going out .Heres a couple of more pics

Heres what i took with me for the day .The rifle is a remington 788 in 7mm 08 which is a necked down 308 . I have owned this gun for over 25yrs .

aleupold 3x9x50 can hunt a good 40 min after sun goes down . I wish i could have you guys over for some .Going back to same place next month ,we also met another farmer who want us to clear the Hogs off his property all year round . I can't wait . Gerry :) :) :)
 
Those porkers will feel better once you get them over a nice warm bed of coals!! Good shootin'.
 
screw africa, that would MY dream hunt...great pics and nice gear!! i still love my 7mm08 its all i really need. man im jealous...ill admit it. hopefully eventually they'll make their way up here
