Currently I am looking for a good all around camp/survival knife (ie. Tom Brown's "Tracker"). I have a "Battle Bowie" from Lonesome Pine knives I would be willing to trade. To see what this knife is about you can go to this site.

Is the top edge sharpened? Which handle material is yours? Do you know what steel it is? Thanks.
 
I would have added more detail of course but I am at work currently and since the knife has spent most of it's life in my closet I wanted to wait until I got home to look at it and add the details. But here is what I do know.

(1) Both sides are sharpened.
(2) Micarta handle.

Here is a quick snippit regarding the knife from Lonsome Pine Knives website.

I see you are in the same city I am. That kind of explains the whole single/double edge issue. I hate our knife laws. :grumpy:

Yeah, LA knife laws are fun aren't they? :rolleyes: I always wanted one of those as a camp knife, and single edge would suit that a little better. I would hate to grind on a $500 custom knife! :eek:
