I bought this knife from an elderly gentleman some years ago. He said he had owned it for nearly 50 years and thought it was a WWII era knife. I don’t know enough to say for sure whether that is the case or not. I was going to someday do something with it, but it has been in my drawer ever since I got it. It is in fairly rough shape, as I have tried to show with the pictures. It was stored in the sheath the whole time the previous owner had it. The blade has a number of spots on it which may be some type of rust (?), but I don’t think it was sharpened or used by the previous owner. The hilt is loose. The handle has some kind of tarnish.
The blade is 7 inches, the handle is almost 5 inches, with an OAL of just over 12”. Sheath has seen better days but is intact.
