Okay...

So I take the knife that I want to put into long term storage and I cover it with Briwax.

Then what do I do?

I was thinking wrap the knife in wax paper and then a sock and then store it away.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Okay 121 views and and no replies so here is what I did:

I covered the entire knife, including handle slabs, in a heavy coat of Briwax.

I wrapped the entire knife in wax paper -- a lot of wax paper.

I put the entire thing into a sock.

I put the sock in a plastic storage case.

I will update this thread in a few months with the results.
