Just wanted to share these pics. This is the BRK&T Bravo-1 with all the optional stuff. Makes for a pretty neat piece of gear.

Can I ask where you got that set up from?

Thanks,

Do it, just do it. You will not be disappointed.

Looking good, Justabuyer!

That is purdy indeed, but I don't get why the tiny knife when the Bravo-1 is a manageable size already? Not scoffing, I just don't understand the utility of adding a tiny knife to a medium one. Whereas a large & small knife duo makes more sense to me. What am I missing?

I'd guess the main notion is to aid in skinning or cleaning small game. It would be a good bit tougher to clean a fish/squirrel/whatever with the thicker Bravo-1 than with a teensier blade like the one attached. Very much a guess though!

The Bravo 1 is a managable size, but it is one chunky 5 inch blade. I don't have any of those super-fat Busses in my collection, so this is the thickest blade I own. Although the Bravo 1 has a number of features built in to enhance dexterity, The three-finger Mikro is as precise as a scalpel. Good for performing appendectomies in the field.

Don't really NEED the firesteel either, but it's nice to have. So they sold us on a few extra accessories, oh well. We are collectors, after all.
