BRKT contest knife

I just got a Wolf River Barkie from DLT, super company to deal with. This thing is sharp, making clean slices in toilet paper, yikes! I only see one way to wear this leather sheath since it only has one belt loop, but doing so puts the knife real close to the body, does anyone else see this as an issue?
