Hi folks. This is a super cool axe, in the classic huntsman's style complete with finger grooves to choke up on the handle for use in skinning game. The handle is black canvas Micarta. Models after this first production run were made with 1095 steel but in the the first run A2 steel was used. It appears to have the original edge and it comes with the original leather sheath, a kydex blade cover and the original box. I was going to hang on to it but this thing but it really should be used. I am asking the price that I paid for it a couple of months ago on this forum.
Price drop edit: Okay, recognizing that I may have over-paid for it at $220 because I thought that the axe was so cool, I will ask $195>>>now$185 for it and hope that someone buys it who will use it.
