I currently have a mini canadian...It's a great knife...I'm lookng for something similar in stainless for use on the boat and such...Was looking at the micro II How much smaller is it than the mini??? I know it's only a 3 finger grip But I can fit momost of my hand on the mini handle without using the choil...also how much smaller is the cutting surface, if any??? Thanks.

The Mikro's blade is just shy of 2" whereas the Mini is just over 2". I find a three finger grip on the Mini to be quite comfortable with my medium-sized hands, so I imagine the Mikro would be just as comfortable to hold. I think the smaller Mikro would be a great neck knife, if you're into that form of carry.

Have you seen their new Hunters' Scalpel? That looks like a great small fixed blade, but it isn't stainless. I have found my A2 Barkies to be quite resistant to rust or stains, so that might not be a deal breaker for the boat.

Hey RescueRiley
Have you looked at the Blackwater Boot knife ,blade shape is different. longer than mikro canadian
but overall length of knife is only about an inch longer & 12c27 stainless

riley-- the mikro is an awesome knife.... it is one of my favorite EDC knives and one of my favorite BRKT's... i've carried it almost everyday in my pocket for the past few years.. i prefer a kydex sheath for EDC... i've carried it around my neck, on my belt and strapped to my pack strap, via tek-lok...:D

get one...:D i'm sure you won't be disappointed....

just had to cancel my order for my fallkie wm-1 which was backordered... but switched my order for the mikro canadian II its the a barkie with a sandvik blade.....ANy thoughts on these??? I've heard brkt makes is able to get almost carbon like performance out of them....is there a noticable difference in the cutting edge length between the min and the mikro???
