BRKT Mini Canadian and pocket sheaths

Well, I struck out again. I'm going to try one of the distributors that Grandpa suggested, who maight still have one on hand.

(Later) I just placed an order at Sage Creek for the Mini Canadian with the brown burl handles and mosaic pins (linked earlier in this thread). I hope it's still available. A bit more than I originally wanted to spend, but I have never regretted coughing up a little more for what I really want rather than settling for less.

My Mini Canadian just came in from DLT. Very nice knife, you won't be disappointed. Sharp little thing, too.

I have been trying to order a Bark River Mini Canadian (not easy - they are out of stock in a lot of places I've found). I want to try it as an edc. Does anyone know if it will fit in the pocket sheath for the A.G. Russell Woodswalker? Are there other reasonably priced pocket sheaths out there?

Yes, it does. I have one, but I was not very satisfied with the results. The sheath wasn't very well made and the clearance is so small that I cut the treads in of the sheath and had to reinforce it myself. Personally, I would rather try these:

or go with a kydex sheath from sagecreekoutfitter.

But really in the end, I am back to the sheath that the Mini came with. And, oh yeah, the Mini is a fantastic knife

Here the sagecreek sheath:

Thanks for the tip. I've actually been thinking about making a square pocket sheath myself instead of getting the Woodswalker version. My Mini Can. should be arriving from Sage Creek Outfitters any day now. I have some time to decide what knife to use to open the box.

It sure wasn't easy! I spent a bit more than I intended, but it's worth it to get what I really want.
