Broadbeck Ironworks Surface Attachment

Has anyone had trouble with scalloping trhe surface when using the Broadbeck Ironworks Surface attachment? I am finding on a lot of my work a series of light scallopsa down the blade after surfacing the piece. I am wondering if maybe I am advancing my work to rapidly and not grinding enough off before adjusting. Any advice will be gladly received. Thanks, Milton
