BROC Knives – Horseman
The Horseman knife came about from the collaboration between the members of the Living To Learn group on Facebook (and YouTube) and Davie Crawford of BROC Knives of Ireland. You can search YouTube to find more out about how this knife came together.
The knife is 3/16” O1 tool steel, with 58HRc, and a blued blade. Handle is matte black canvas micarta with red liners.
Sheath was also handmade by Davie Crawford. I ordered this directly from BROC Knives. Comes with all original packaging, and I will be adding pictures of that later. It comes in a wooden box.
Blade is approximately 6-1/4” long, scandi grind, and roughly 11” in overall length. Blade is also about 2” wide (near handle). This is marked with the BROC name on one side of the blade and with the Living to Learn symbol on the other. It is also the 21st Horseman made and is numbered with 21.
Only reason I’m selling (or trading) is due to the handle. The swells of the handle don’t fit my grip and it feels awkward in my hand, but the overall knife really is amazing. So I’m looking to sell or trade. I have sliced some paper and used the spine to strike a ferro rod, but no other usage. I ordered this in early July, and it was delivered in early October.
Asking price is $350 PayPal, which is $50 less than what I paid. Price includes all shipping and fees.
If you are interested in trading, I’m looking for similar sized and shaped blades to the Horseman, and in particular, a Survive Knives GSO 6, a Quickhatch Trapper XL, or a Battle Horse knives Scout Platoon with removable micarta handle scales. If you have interest, please private message me as it’s the best way to reach me. If you are outside the 50 States, please let me know and we can discuss the potential of shipping international. Thanks for looking.
