Broderna Jonsson (MORA SWEDEN)

Btw @sixty fiver. I really like that case that came with that mora. Just kind of a lucky find I guess. No way to tell where to get one for my jonsson?

I've never seen it in real live. Maybe Sweden is an exception, but I think outside Sweden it is a rare knife.

I have this knife in a 5" size. It was my father's and he used it when hunting rabbits. Only now have I looked up its origin. I"m not selling it.

I call them the "capped" style...

Their ads were always omnipresent in Boy's Life, Field and Stream etc., during the 60's so I probably imprinted on these knives at an early age...

I have a several of Broderna Jonsson's, a Carl Andersson and a KJ Ericksson in this style.

Like Sak Guy, I have several of those same knives. Great blades. Most are laminated steel and take a razor edge. Both good users and nice collectibles.

Nice collection of vintage steel you have.

Thanks buddy!! I really like the older "classic" Moras. They are a lot more substantial than the newer versions...like almost everything else I guess.
