I don't think that you will have any trouble reprofiling that tip.

Not at all/ I spent about 20 minutes last night with the whet stone and it looks fine and is just as functional. I will post picture later.

I was just fixing to say that a few minutes in a lansky clamp will have fixed right up.

How do you like that serrated blade on a 110?
 
oh that's minor ... just find a table mounted belt sander and reprofile it. I had my old 110 redone at a gunshow for $5.
 
I picked the serrated with the idea of cutting rope. If I had to do it over again I would buy the straight edge. The serration are a real pain to try to sharpem even with all the little gadgets out there. Plus I really think more edge would be better, but then again I have my AG 110 also.
