Broke my finger

I broke my damn finger so now i can't make knifes (broke my left hand and im left handed) and i am off work for a whole week... this totally sucks.

does anyone know where a guy could find a second hand belt grinder? or a cheaper one? or even a how to

On the bright side, now is a great time to learn how to file or grind right handed . Sucks for the injury, but hang in there and the fever to make knives will grow to very productive levels by the time you're healed up.

put the butt of the file in your stomach (put a towel or something as padding) and draw the knife blank towards you.

harbor freight has a 30x1 inch adjustable angle belt grinder for 40 bucks. its not the best but its a start...
