Broken Backsprings

Got my knives back from Queen.

Backsprings on both replaced no question asked, no charge to me aside from shipping them to PA.

Only the broken spring was replaced on the Equestrian, but it looks and feels like both springs were replaced on the Harness Jack.

Both knives saw alot of buffer time apparently, the sheild on the Equestrian has almost no texture left, and the Harness Jack has no etching left on the blade, and a shiny new orange peelish finish. Both were sharpened, including the Awl blades. Grinder edge, and not bad for sharp.

All in all a pretty good experience, despite my panic.

They will take their turns in the back left pocket once again. If they break again, they will go back again ( specify no buff, no sharpen)

Good they fixed it up, not sure why they had to unleash the buffer though......

If they replaced the backsprings, that means they had to take apart and reassemble the knife. I imagine the buffer was used to finish and smooth the new pins. Whomever did this may have gotten a bit over-enthusiastic. :D I don't know why they would buff the blade though. Maybe it got scratched while it was being worked on and the buffer was used to remove the scratches?
