I broke the blade of a small Sebenza in half while cutting fiberglass/plastic strapping tape on a load of tile. I think it had a defect, as I wasn't putting *that* much pressure on the blade with the cut, but obviously it was enough.
This was about five years ago, during a long summer of remodeling the house. That knife got used for just about everything you could imagine a kife could do on a job like that. While I didn't abuse the knife, just used it quite a bit, for wiring, trimming all sorts of things, opening stuff, what have you.
The best part was how CRK replaced the blade under warranty, even after I told them how it happened. When it was first returned to me, the fit of the replacement blade seemed a little bit off, with a slight bind to it. I sent it back and they made it perfect. I still carry that knife every day, and use it constantly. I'd buy another CRK anything in a heart-beat.
