Broken Heart..

I've re-profiled many knife tips before. Mostly cheap knives and never a Busse, but with a surprisingly small amount of work you could use a mild file or even a good whetstone to get your tip back. It may not look exactly like the original factory tip, but with a little care it would never be noticed by most people. For a dedicated user, it'd be fine. :thumbup:
 
Two minutes with a Dremmel tool with Rubberized abrasive(Kratex) Fix that right up.

Having Bill Siegle do what he does so well is nearly always a really good idea.

I broke about an eighth of an inch off of the tip of an A-2 Mean Street maybe seven years ago, having inadverntantly Stuck the knife in a Cement slab while thowing at a reinforced cardboard box in my living room and Mis-calcuated the penetration.

Two minutes with a Dremel Tool and a Rubberized abrasive(Kratex) fixed it right up.
