Broken pocket knife

I understand that camillus knifes is out of bussiness. I have a 3 inch camillus folding pocket knife with a 21/4 inch blade. Was my Grandfathers. Has crossed swords on one side of the blade with the words silver sword etched above and below and on the other side the words camillus 864 U.S.A. Ok the problem. the locking shaft along the back of the knife has broken in the middle. Is steel but I guess after all these years of use, anyway I need to have it repaired. I lived in Hollywood Florida. Any Ideas???? Ray
 
Hi Ray, sorry to hear about the broken backspring on your grandfather's knife. Hopefully, someone may have a solution.
Case makes an "executive lockback" ina 3 inch model that looks very similar. Perhaps they are close enough or even made by the same factory?

Perhaps you can find a used one and compare the backsprings?

I happend to purchase a cabnet with 100s of different backsprings, if you can post a scan of pic with a ruler I can see if there is something close, I am repairing a Boker for a friend and found a replacement blade and can opener in this mess of knife parts so maybe there is a spring.
