Hey Blade People,

I wanted to show you some new strops I got from Brommeland Gunleather (he’s a sight sponsor/dealer). The strops I got from him are the micro strop (1.5”x4”), the pocket strop (6”x2”) and the bench strop (3”x8”).

Purpose of these strops are to have sturdy, even, quality strops since I use convex edges and maintain them by basically stropping. I rarely have to actually sharpen so strops are important to me.

Look at the quality and thickness of the strops:

I got them pre-loaded with green compound and black compound. The bench block I loaded myself with green and white compound. You can see how well they are loaded and how level the leather is:

Now I love the pocket and micro strops! They are amazing because I like to take them with me for field sharpening/stropping. They are kept in my pack or my jacket when hunting and when I’m on orders they fit amazingly well in my OCPs.

They even fit into my combat master sheath (it is a very tight fit with my DC4 in there too):

I find it very easy to use the micro and pocket strops because I also use the DC4 when I need to sharpen so I’m used to holding in my hand and carefully using these items

Anyway thought I’d share since the snow had given me some free time (we aren’t allowed in the motor pool due to weather). If you are looking for quality strops then I would highly recommend these.

Bonus, my poor snowy Abrams:
