Bronze?

Just sealed the deal for this nmsfno with black g10 handle from a fellow member on the exchange:thumbup:. This one looks like it will take some time/or a couple few beers to turn into a user:D

These bronze knives are great! I was excited to see how you guys and gals would react to it.

That is nice. Black paper or G-10?

All of the Bronze knives that didn't have the Res-C handles were made with Black G-10.

How about you invite me over and I'll bring the MOAB and we can chop stuff up and drink beer.

Deal, you may not like what we are going to chop though. That thing has a warranty right?

I am about 45 minute's from Bedford, PA. Working on getting another team to chop with.

Just received this blade from a fellow member today....I couldn't tell from the pictures before I purchased the knife (wish it was mentioned), but there are two eye sores of to much coating on this blade (first thing I noticed taking the knife out of the cardboard sheath). You can see in the first picture the build up 3/4 of the way down the blade. Has anyone else had this issue with the bronze coating or any other cg coating on their Busse's? I am normally not picky with this kind of thing, but I am surprised that for a special coating for blade show that this got through quality control.

I can see it in the photo from the original sales post.
You said after a few beers you were going to make it a user. I'd say.....go for it.
That rough spot will smooth right out.
Great blade and score by the way :)

The knife is awesome by the way! for a smaller more practical package it feels like a better chopper than my nmfsh. Like I said I am not usually picky about these things, but this is very obvious and disappointing, even a girl I had over that knew nothing about knives pointed out this coating problem right off the bat. This is a knife that is pretty much all about the new bronze coating, so I figured it would have been delivered better by Busse. Either way I love the knife and the eyesore will wear off with use...I am sticking with satin finish for now on though.
