I am anxiously waiting for the following set of knives to arrive. They are brothers made by Claudio Sobral (claudio-cas here on bladeforums.com), the first is based on a recent knife Claudio made 'Black Bull' the other is the big brother, a recurve bowie. I provided a basic profile and let Claudio to do what he does best. I am very happy with the pictures and can not wait to see them in person. Thank you Claudio.

CAS makes a kickass working blade. That they look so awesome and are so well made elevates them.

A beautiful pairing.. Wild hamon and forge marks. I love the lines on those two..you are a lucky man Sir!.....FES

Thanks. Now the hard part is the wait after seeing the pictures. Plus I have yet to see the sheaths and I know I will be pleasantly surprised.

WoW, Claudio gives me hunger of sandwich " Stainless and Carbon "....

Claudio's work is as good as any......congrats on a fine set! (*):D(*)

Wow - most matched sets I've seen are big and small - this one is big and BIGGERER - love it!

Another winning pair from Claudio

Thanks Joe. I have been watching Claudio for some time, but decided to order after seeing the knife he made for you and the Black Bull.

Maybe I need to learn more patiences, but I have the tracking number and this set has been sitting in Miami for the last 5 days. The arid South West is a much better place for knives than a humid customs warehouse. Hope they get here soon.

I have received them and they are wonderful. I will try to get pics next week.
