Brous Blades Element/Kinetic/Unnamed/er......what's going on here?

So on a whim a while back I picked up a Brous Blades Element. Ordered it up direct from Jason, and the knife showed up very quickly. It is a very nice piece with great action, but is a little more "aggressive" looking than what I'm usually drawn too, and the advertised recurve blade isn't really a recurve at all (sadly). Oh well. Decided to list it for sale.

In doing so, though, I've now found myself a bit confused, as this knife seems to have all but disappeared. Brous Blades no longer has any mention (or pictures) of it up on their website, and the internet is awfully quite in regards to the "Element".

In looking around, Knife Center seems to have the same knife listed for sale (and on sale...grrr.....), but they are labeled as the "Brous Blades Unnamed Flipper". Blade HQ has now listed the knife for sale again also, but this time calling it the "Brous Blades Kinetic Flipper" (and not mentioning the recurve at all).

Since this was a limited numbered set, I'm kinda curious as to what has transpired here. Anyone have any info as to what's going on with this knife?

I was wondering it myself actually. This is purely speculation, but my guess is someone was already using the name "Element" and asked him to change it. Kind of like Guardian Tactical changing the name of their "Patron" knife after Jeremy Robertson of Calavera Cutlery requested they do so.

Hmmmm..............and now another name change: Looks like it's been relisted on BHQ and Knife Center as the "Statement". Odd.
