Up for sale is a pair of brand new Brous Blades knives; a Silent Soldier XL Framelock and an Element Framelock.
The SSF-XL is number 246/250, and is the full acid wash version. I picked this up a while ago direct from Brous, flipped it a few times, and just found that I preferred the smaller size of my regular SS for an EDC.
It is a very cool titanium framelock design with adjustable lock up and replaceable stainless steel lockbar insert. The titanium is heavily milled from the backside, and as such the knife is surprisingly light in hand. Stonewashed and fully acid washed give it a very rough and tumble utilitarian look.
Specs:
- Overall Length: 7 3/4"
- Blade Length: 3"
- Blade Thickness: 3/16"
- Blade Material: D2
- Handle Material: 6AL4V Titanium
- Handle Thickness: .545"
- Closed Length: 4 3/4"
- Weight: 5.4 oz.
- Carry Option: Left- or Right-Hand Carry
Nicely centered, smooth flipping, and truly a unique looking knife. Includes birthcard, pivot adjustment tool, and Brous Blades padded hardcase.
Retails for $599usd ($808cad) + shipping. *SOLD*
Next up is a Brous Blades Element. This is number 447/500, and is the full stonewash version. Steel lockbar insert/over-travel stop, aluminum backspacer, and a nice 3D sculpted pocket clip. Beautiful knife, but a little too "tactical" looking for my own tastes. Fondled and flipped, but unused and uncarried.
- Overall Length: 8.25"
- Blade Length: 3.5"
- Closed Length: 5"
- Blade Thickness: 0.19"
- Blade Material: D2 Tool Steel
- Blade Style: Recurve Tanto
- Handle Material: 6AL4V Titanium
- Handle Thickness: 0.56"
- Weight: 6.5 oz.
- Carry Option: Right-Hand Carry Only
Nicely centered, smooth flipping, and truly a unique looking knife. Includes birthcard, pivot adjustment tool, and Brous Blades padded hardcase.
Retails for $549usd ($740cad) + shipping. Looks like you can get em on sale for $439usd ($595cad) + shipping right now from one retailer (Arg!), *SOLD
