You guys know how it goes, moving some knives I never carry to pay for ones that I do!
Brous Blades Reloader - $230 SOLD - I initially really liked this knife, but my tastes have gravitated towards knives with thinner profiles. It's just too chunky for me. Carry, and used to cut some paper but nothing else. Factory sharp edge still on it. Broken in nicely, lockup is about 50% but is rock solid. Centering is perfect. Fairly strong detent so it flips out nicely. The reason I'm discounting this one heavily is because I did use a dremel to polish the detent ball track, which is exposed. This has smoothed the knife out tremendously, but the polishing is visibly different than the satin finish. Purely a cosmetic issue. Comes with box and most of the Brous goodies (minus a few stickers).
Benchmade 425 Gravitator - $130 -This is a long out of production Snody design that I lusted after for a while. I bought this one used from the exchange, but then sent it to Benchmade's Lifesharp service where it has a new factory razor edge. Benchmade adjusted the lockup (rock solid) and replaced all of the hardware. The blade has the BK1 coating which shows a fair bit of wear over the years, but this knife has plenty of life left in it. Benchmade confirmed that they still have parts for this one so it will still be serviceable for a good while. Centering is off a hair bit, and the detent is almost non existent (common for this knife) which has lead to what feels like almost frictionless deployment. It's truly remarkable just how smooth this thing is given how solid it locks up. Does not come with original box or pouch unfortunately.
