I had Jason put a finger choil in the blade to aid in sharpening as well as practical purposes. Knife has been carried and used. The satin blade shows scratches which are from sharpening. Knife is a user and definitely not like new. Although it has been carried and used it still functions flawlessly and is absolutely the SMOOTHEST FLIPPER I've ever held... smoother than my XM 18. The detent is perfect, its stout but not overly tight like a lot of knives now made. IF YOU HAVE WANTED TO CARRY A BROUS KNIFE DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE. You will not be disappointed.

Knife is in SUPERB condition. I have put a screaming sharp polished edge on it. Even tho I have carried the knife, just a couple of times, it shows no signs of carry or use. I may have opened an envelope or two but never used it to cut anything more. This knife could pass for new in my opinion.
