Normal "stuff" for my listings.
I will only sell to members in good standing with the community.
I am as honest as it gets, I due my best to detail what I feel is important from centuring to "action", blade play, lock up, etc. I don't care if it's $50 or $500 I go out of my way to list everything I find important in a quality folding knife.
I ship quickly and go out of my way to package like a tank so my items show up on time and in perfect condition. I also provide tracking numbers asap and have over 10 years selling and hundreds of transactions with reviews on my website kylenv.com
I also have a very solid reputation on this site as well and due my best to help others and treat people how I would want to be treated when purchasing and expensive luxury item from a stranger online.
Thanks for looking and please feel free to ask question I have tons of pictures of all my knives, just posted some that I thought would be the most useful and show off these two great knives.
*** My pricing includes shipping, being a forum I would prefer to have money sent thru paypal as friends, but feel free to send however you like and are comfortable.***
1) Brous/Turpin Insight-(number 303 of 500)- $235.00 Shipped, this an amazing knife, the action is so quick and smooth it really must be handled to apperciate. The detent is perfection, it is not overly stiff and will hold the blade closed while shaking. This is a mid-tech knife and each of Brous Mid-tech special runs I have handled have been some of the best in the knife world. I always think "I wish Chris Reeves made a medium Sebenza and this knife was what I had dreamed of. Its perfect for small and large hands. Having the tri-plane milling makes it grippy and not slippery like many full titanium scales, but not overly aggresive, I can see why they chose this model to offer as a mid-tech. Youtube reviewer and all around knife snob Jim Skelton(seems like a cool guy and honest as hell) is the one who sold me on this mid-tech, he had nothing to say but great things and said this knife rivaled anything in this price range and even the full custom which sell for close to $2,000 if you can find one. Seens how Jim handles $10,000 knives daily and some of the best makers in the business reach out to him for his opinion I figured I could trust his review, and trust me I was blown away and got way more then I asked for at this price range there is not many knives in this league, In my humble opinion, Just look at the blade grind work, the milling time spent on the scales, and the amazing floating titanium backspacer. Find all that on a sub $500 knife and one with a life time warranty that is 100% made in America....
This is a brand new knife, never cut with, never carried, not fondled daily. Taken out maybe once every couple weeks and admired and flipped and set back into it's Pelican Case. The blade is centured, there is no lock rock, no stick, no blade play, just a perfect knife, great lock up, high quality and this is 1 of only 500. The actual number is 303 of 500.
This knife comes with the pelican case, DOB card, and tool like all of Brous mid-tech and customs.
2) Benchmade 9500 Mini Stryker (auto knife) $110.00 shipped- this is a pretty rare version as it has the tanto blade in satin finish(has been discontinued for some time). The action is snappy while not overpowering, I would say just about perfect and deploys at any angle and locks up perfect. I just opened and closed it a few times to double check "the blade centuring is perfection!". This is a new knife, never used, never carried, black finish on the scales show no signs of handling and blade show no signs of use, this could be sold "as new". I don't have the box on this one so that is the only bad thing. I currently don't have a clip on it as it just "looks cool" but I have several to choose from so if just let me know as I have deep carry or standard pocket clips.Just tell me which you want and I will install it before shipping.
Here is a link with all the specs, these are no longer produced and also was benchmade smallest Tanto Auto ever made so may be good for a benchmade collector. I can tell you this, I have large to XXL hands from glove sizes, and I can still get a full grip on the knife and no hot spots, great design, but as we all know knifes come and go so just shaking it up to try some new models.
