Got a new one here available for campgrounds or battlefields. Really just a good, usable blade :) 1/4in thick 5160 steel with my usual differential heat treat. Brown G10 scales held on with stainless steel screws and epoxy. This one is "just right" size at 13 1/2in overall with an 8in blade. The blade is 1 3/4in wide. It comes with a black Kydex sheath. Price is $350**Sold**(paypal or USPS MO) shipped in the US(intl shipping at added cost).

Oh my.

Just right indeed. Every aspect is for function, yet the whole is quite nice to look at.

Bravo, Mr. Siegle.

what type edge geometry does this knife have?

Unless it's unlike every other Siegle I've ever seen, it's a symmetrical convex edge coming off of a flat primary grind. If you meant angle, Bill usually lands in the 30-35 degree included area (as near as can be measured with convex) on a knife this size with a microbevel that tacks on another couple degrees. His treatment of 5160 hasn't been exceeded by any maker I've ever tried (matched by a few but never improved upon) and his knives are pure performance.

Listen to Warren--and I agree with what he said as well

I have tested more Siegle knives than just about anyone--and you will never get "just one" Siegle.:D
