Hi all,
Please be 21 to purchase and know your local knife laws. Price includes shipping (US only, please) and PayPal G&S fees. I reserve the right to sell to whomever I choose, but generally the first “I’ll take it” here followed by a PM gets the knife. Thanks for looking!
I hate to let these go, but I need to save for some new purchases. Overall these are two extremely well-built knives from a popular maker. Hope someone can enjoy them more than I am at the moment! Not looking for trades, but would have trouble turning down a deal for a Rask v2 or Holt Specter v4.
1. Brown Knives LHC-X v2 (#280): I purchased this one directly from Craig. I’ve carried it a little, used it very sparingly. Factory edge. Fantastic grind, action, lockup. Has some wear around the flipper tab (ano is just a little lighter) from handling/flipping, and there’s a small snail trail on one of the liners that I tried to photograph. Fantastic piece, recently discontinued model. Comes with mini-Pelican case and COA as it arrived from the maker. Note this does not have a clip -- I never was a big fan of clips in general, and I feel that the Brown Knives clips are very not ergonomic. I'm sure someone could do a wire clip, or Craig might be willing to mill the scale and do one for this. Asking traded
2. Brown Knives Cortex v1 (#146): I purchased this one directly from Craig. I’ve carried it a little, used it very sparingly. Factory edge. Fantastic grind, action, lockup. Extremely smooth and fidgety. This one has a small amount of detent wiggle when closed. Doesn't affect function, but for those who would be bothered by this, I wanted to mention it. I've also noticed a very small chip in the edge that looks to be from a small amount of blade rap on the backspacer. I've tried to photograph both, but it wasn't easy. I'm sure this issue would go away with 1-2 sharpenings given how shallow this ding in the edge is. Really cool knife. Comes with mini-Pelican case and COA as it arrived from the maker. Note this does not have a clip. Asking traded
I'm working this weekend, so I'll drop them off at the PO Sunday if purchased before then. Thanks for looking!
