Mine has been used a fair bit- I've been taking pics of some the things I've used it for. I lowered the edge angle and polished the bevels (there's a pic in the Spyderco forum calendar comp thread); since put a microbevel on with the SM. I processed 7 rabbits at the weekend, being a bit carefree about bone contact when taking off takes, feet head and jointing the meat. There was some very minor edge damage (slight kinking of the microbevel) but no chipping. A few licks on the SM plus stropping and the edge was uniform again.
... doesn't it look better with a pair of standoffs?
