When did you order? They come in batches. I waited for mine for 2, 3 months.

i dont think ill ever pre order a knife again im way to impatient. I get anxious waiting for knives to get shipped to me when there in stock. On another post somewho said they waited a year to get there sprint run para I could not do that.

Yeah, the wait was pretty annoying. I had to convince myself that I didn't really want it to get by. I pre-ordered on 9/19 and was charged the full price on 12/21 right before it was shipped. So that's 3 months. Of course, your particular experience will certainly vary and hopefully better.

They seem to trickle down, try to have notify on as many dealers as you can. My favorite dealer just had some, I checked for you and they just sold out sorry.

I sold mine like a dummy a few months ago to fund another purchase. It went fast. Im down to a blue and a gray PM2's. I would love another gray.

Well I always see the look what the mailman brought me and thank you mail man posts. So i guess ill say BOOOOOO mailman. I got a little card because the package required a signature. So my brown para 2 is at the post office and I can't pick it up till tuesday after work. Son OF a ***** lol

I got my shipping confirmation as well. Signature confirmation required as well, so I think I'm going to be in the same boat as you.

I could not believe my luck!
I went to my local walk in guy to get the Yojimbo 2 Which was on his site as stock. Turns out that he did not have the Yojimbo, but he did have a few PM 2's brown sprint run. Well, I got one and it is a beauty.
Now I don't know if I should use it, or wait until production catches up and get one of those. All in I am very happy with this purchase.
So if I was able to get one here in Canada, then I'm sure they must be making there way out there. All the best.
Cheers.

Not to rain on your guys parade, but can anybody explain to me, what is attraction of this knife because I do not see anything except brown scales?
The steel is about the same as regular production. I do not think that anybody in a blind test will see the difference. This is not a sprint or limited run. This is distributor exclusive and as long as he can sell, he will order more and more. And it is significantly more expensive that production para2. The knife doesn't have much of collector value or much of additional value for a user to compare with regular G10/S30v knife. Am I missing something?

The very original price on this model was ~$135. That puts it a little above a regular, and imo makes sense because it is a limited run, so it will cost a bit more to produce. All Para prices have gone up due to the shortage. S35VN is supposed to be tougher w/out sacrificing any wear resistance, and since I have personally rolled the edge on more than one knife with S30V, I think S35VN would be a welcome upgrade. I personally have a green CTS-204P coming that cost $140, and feel this is the best valued PM2 out there. I have no other PM2 due to the fact that I have the green on pre-order, but if I didn't, I would consider the brown at ~$135 over the regular black S30V at ~$115. So if you could get them for the ~$135, I say it is a decent deal, a unique color, slight improvement on blade steel, and at that price the total package is still a great value. I have plenty of Spyderco's right now, so I would just wait it out personally.

Just the fact that it does have brown scales and a different steel, gives me a feel of 'special'. Not a high price value but more of a personal value. I know it is not a limited edition but when a really good user offers something a little different, then I will get one and probably put it away for viewing and playing with.
Just my view on collecting.
Cheers
