Brown PM2 Q&C issues : (

Ditto. It's off by what, .5 millimeters?
If that ;)
If that. Edge eveness from the factory doesn't concerne me so much, as it is correctable through sharpening. However, blade scratches are another matter - I prefer to put them on myself.

Spyderco should be informed of such QC problems, otherwise, how can they address them? Reporting bad QC helps the company and the consumer, IMO.

I agree regarding the scratches. As far as th QC is concerned, I agree that it should be reported, along with photos as the OP did here.

Got mine today. No major issues, cosmetic or otherwise. Smooth as glass and the brown scales are a warmer tone that I originally thought. Nice!

While the slightly uneven bevel is not an issue at the price point, those scratches are. I would seek a replacement, be it from the dealer or Spyderco.

OP, Seriously I don't think your specimen warrants any QC refinement.

Here's a factory edge on my Ti Mil that requires some help.
BTW, I kept this knife and plan on using it.

Sorry for the bad cell phone pics
The glare in the 2nd pic really shows the uneveness.

The bevel wasn't the main thing. I just threw that pic in. Its of course a production knife and a little bevel degree variation is acceptable and can be, like others have said, corrected with a little sharpening. The QC problem are the scratches all over the blade; a knife that bad shouldnt be given the ok to be shipped out, especially a sprint, IMO.
