Hi fellas:
Brown Thunder can stand for a lot of different things - some not so nice.
In this context, Brown Thunder is the name of my recurve camp chopper in differentially heat treated 1095. The scales are English Walnut with marblecake and crotch flame figure....and I used nickel silver fittings to complete the theme on this beast. I really like how it turned out ---- this is an elegant knife with a simple, elegant sheath. This knife has some heft to it with the spine just under a 1/4" at .205". The 400 grit hand rubbed finish is easily maintained by the user so the knife can always be kept looking like brand new if you don't want it to get a patina. The soldered guard provides added protection to the user and the sheath carries the knife securely but draws easily. Superb fit and finish. $325 plus $15 shipping. Paypal preferred to my account at tksteinass@frontier.com and I accept USPS money orders. The first "I'll take it" gets is. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.
