Brown titanium 3" Hinderer

The lockside is sandblasted with bronze anodiziing

Interesting, I guess I should have seen that in the pic but the color of the sandblasted/bronze anodized lock seemed so consistent with the Flat Dark Earth DLC. I am sure seeing them in the flesh it would have been more obvious.

That is a really nice knife Bill.

Thanks very much Rob. Is this something I could send back for a refurbish when you are accepting knives for refurbish? Thanks again and have a Merry Christmass.

Looking at the picture, the blade looks fine and doesn't need refurbishing. It has a working finish as stated by Rob and meant to look just like its been used up. A blasted finish would look much cleaner. You actually have a rare XM-18 finish that seldom comes out from the Hinderer ranch.

Cheers

Refurbish what? The knife looks to be in great shape, use it for a few years then we'll cross that bridge.

Refurb? That looks mint, Rob would just mess it up. Here's one of my edc with exact combination. Photos taken 1 minute ago fresh from my pocket.

I know. Years away from a refurb, the blade looks great after some decent abuse. Its almost starting to piss me off. I'm going to have to step it up so you can fix it.

Now we are beginning to decipher this puzzle. Sand blasted bronze ano, I had that suspicion a few posts ago. Thanks for clarity, I know I learned something.

@ Bushmaster-M4gery: That user is beautiful.

BH, Congrats! As for a refurb., from what I see.... I wouldn't touch it. If you are putting it in a safe - Great leave it original. If you are going to carry it - especially don't touch it.
Either way, Enjoy.

Well to be turthful I wanted to try a 3" vs. the 3.5 I have. I love both but the 3.5 will be with me everyday. I am much more of a user the collector......of course if I had the money I would be both :D I asked about refurb because I might sell it and wanted it to look just perfect. I think I will hang on to it for a little while and carry it some more. Thanks to everyone for helping me figure what it was. And I agree they look ever better with some character. I thought the 3.5 would be a little big to carry but that is not the case, it is perfect.

Merry Christmass everyone,

Bill

The 3.5 is perfect for EDC. I carry a 3.5 in either Spanto or Slicer as my primary folder with the 24 as a backup when the task at hand requires a bigger knife. Used to carry only the 24 when it was my only Hinderer. I like it so much I gotta have it on me even with a 3.5 in my pocket.
