I have numerous small pieces of elephant ivory. I've had my son cut them to lengths and sand the edges flat, to set them side by side on a liner backing. I've never used Brownells product, and would like to know if anyone has used the Original or the Gel for piecing together a mosaic ivory handle for a full tang knife. Does the product dry clear and not yellow? Does it buff well?
I've found some answers in this thread:http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=490551&highlight=acraglas

Acraglass is the only epoxy that I use. It dries slightly yellow but if you get some of the white acraglass dye it can be used to closely match the color of the ivory. I would incorporate some type of mechanical lock with ivory also though
