I finished a combat/fighter today . D-2 steel and black green micarta handle .
The handle is secured with Corby bolts as well as the slow cure epoxy .
Now as an after thought , maybe too late . It would be real nice to put a matt grey oven bake coat on the blade .Has anyone done this with a complete blade without damage to the handle ? Also they sell an insulating tape rated at 400 degree's to mask parts off using there product . Any experience with this tape and method .
Thanks for any input
