Credibility?
:D
Wasn't satin the ghillie suit kid?
Lots of long lost names in that thread.
Didn't they make nice at the Riddle and come out buddies?
What did Rob Simonich say?
"As Grinder Turns"?

post 36 by satin after the Riddle of Steel

As others seem want to belittle the technique, they should also realize that they, like Morgan, would probably stand corrected about the method after having first hand experience with it, instead of guessing they are doing the same thing like Morgan did before seeing it himself.

post #27 sums it up by another who actually has seen the skills set first hand after the Riddle.

I didn't lose credibility, I gained it sir. I run my own forum now and spend most of my time here:

Its top secret tecnique! delete this thread immediately - ai-quaeda is spying around! ;)))))

btw it works well even with lockbacks - I can open my endura this way.

I've been using that technique for years, I've always called it a torque opening. Interestingly, it works in either direction, not just to the outside. You can do the twist to the inside too and open it.

As there is no "twist" anywhere to the "Pop", whatever you have been doing for years isn't the same thing and certainly proves once again that perception becomes the reality for many people, even when that perception is not correct.

brownshoe;

you might die laughing:rolleyes: , we'll just never know though:jerkit: I haven't presently carried a folder for two years. I prefer to carry a Rob Patton straight custom I had made since moving to a free state.:D

I dont usually do not do this to threads but.........

What a lame thread that was linked. Like this "brownie pop" is some sort of secret ninja trick that can kill a crowd of thugs in less than a second. :rolleyes: big deal.
Some men love to be a drama queen.

thombrogan;

Yes sir, I have one of those, carried a few weeks and put away like all the other folders in deference to the straight blades.

Everyone's entitled to their opinions, you've stated yours, others who've seen it first hand have theirs;) Wonder who's opinion would be more valid?:thumbup:

This thread ended Brownie's credibility at BF. He sharply curtailed his activity here after that.

Having blown your credibility on this site, you've started your own forum where there are just 325 members, of whom only 27 (including yourself) have more than 30 posts. . .

That is what is called "cut and run".

How exactly did that help you "gain credibility" on BF?

Rat;

Did you miss this link?

Two posters, including the one who didn't understand the technique and disparaged it on this forum later wrote what they saw and thought of same. It works, and works well. You, on the other hand wouldn't know that would you, as you speak from a lack of knowledge on the subject.

You know what they say about opinions----------

I made a statement that I started my own forum, not that that gave me credibility. Two different thought processes. Try to keep up okay?;)

I will type slowly so you can comprehend what I am saying here. . . :p

You don't realize that your own stupid antics are what lost you your credibility?

Nobody said anything about "Brownie pops" having anything to do with your loss of face. You did it all to yourself by acting like a tool in this old thread.

Maybe you forgot about it, or missed the fact that .45acp was talking about how your foolish behavior destroyed your "credibility" on BF. (not about brownie pops)

You responded with a denial of that fact, and posted a link to your ghost town of a forum. Hence my reference to your cutting and running.

Try to keep up, okay? ;)

What transpired between Mr. Atwood and I was settled on the playing field in full view of other Riddlers. It would not have been resolved on the internet, anymore than this will be resolved on the internet.

As I've stated before, you and others are entitled to your opinions about what transpired between the parties involved here a long time ago now. I really could care less what your opinion is now or was then.

What you and those with a similair opinion continue to fail to realize is that I ran a game on a kid here, and he backed off as I suspected he would. He also soon realized that you can play any role on the internet, but your actions may just be accountable one day for your indiscretions.

He corrected those indiscretions in person, and reiterated same here in the link after the Riddle. J Keating knew I was running the game all along and there would be nothing of it on the river.

Because you and others were not privy to that information and didn't then, nor do now have the full facts, or the motives behind the actions in that thread, means little to me at best. The credibility came when I could do what I said I could do with folders, and was documented accordingly in person.

No more or less. Credibility comes from being able to walk the walk, not just talk the talk as some are want to here and most everywhere on the errornet. You take care now, hear?;)

I'm trying to figure out why it was brought back to life after 7 months, especially if everything was straightened out?

:confused:

Chris,

I began getting emails for the instructions again in the last few months after a few years off this. Figured it had to do with some thread over here on BF, looked last night and saw this thread.

In reading the old posts back in 2003 linked by another here, it deserved the link that set the record straight as well.
