Hi. This is a production Browning Crowell/Barker Competition Knife. I purchased it when they were first produced, quite a long time ago. It is model 580 and is made in Taiwan.

The lengths are 10”, tip to handle, with a five inch (linen?) handle. The info card states “high carbon steel”, so I don’t know exactly what it is. It is in pristine condition, never used. In fact, as you can see, it still is covered in the original silicon grease. Not so good for sales pictures, but great for preserving it.

The package comes with the original box, which has a tear in the front flap. It also comes with the original leather sheath and autographed information card (probably reproductions of the original autographs).

I’m asking $125.00 for this knife.

First valid “I’ll take it”, gets it. Feel free to ask any questions through email or Private message. I will ship out of country, but may be a bit selective and will ask for additional shipping fees if needed.

Thank you for looking. Mike

Damn...... I missed out
I've got a beater one.... Someone sold me a bent one! :/
Even though my scales were flawed, and I noticed the bend....
It's one of my Favorite blades.... I wish I could of bought This one too.

I hope the new owner uses it, it's Really an amazing knife. I love it. It out shines much more expensive knives.

No way I sell it. Nice distal taper and tapered tang. Convexed edge done right. The sheath is nice thick leather with a snug grip. You can hook it in without making a fuss. Blade angle forward for good chopping, but centrally weighted, like a knife due to the taper. Really nice handle, smooth cool design, palm swell, 3 hollow pins and flares out at the end. Large bolster for choking up on as it's weighted to feel right doing knife tasks. Not quite 90 spine machined smooth for comfort if gripping. Long swedge makes it really look badass too. Theres a youtube video of some jabroni smashing it through bricks with a hammer and it does hang in there with tons of abuse.
