Browning Crowell/Barker Competition Knife - 1085 carbon steel.
Unused condition with sheath, lanyard cord, COA, box. Box has some storage wear.

how did you find out it's 1085 ?I've been looking and I wasn't able to find out what kind of steel it was , but it's awesome ,holds a great edge,very very tough
 
Researched around the net, this designation kept coming up. A.G. Russell Lists it on his site as 1085C. I could have ended the search there due to my respect for A.G and his site in general but other sites listed it as such also.

I wonder how it compares to the SK5 used by Cold Steel and SOG among others.
 
I have the Competition knife and a CS laredo. I use them both and would say the are quite similar, hard to tell a noticable difference for me at least.

I think that is one of the best performing bowies around for the money! Good luck with the sell!
