Who else is excited for this blade that was recently released at Shot Show? It has licensed the pocket deploy and thumb support features from Kudo. It also comes in an awesome tan color.

Interesting knife. On a side note, it's interesting that NutnFancy would school the guy who's manning the knife booth by saying, "In the knife world, we call that waveable."

Too many moving parts for me, I can't use the wave feature in my office pants, and not ergonomic for slicing food. I can appreciate, however, the hinged thumb support; it's a compromise from needing to make the handle much longer than what it is.

looks like a bastardized silly toy karambit. Unfortunate as I own 2 of Brownings cheap yet outstanding Chinese made fixed blades. Thought Browning was knocking it off with the cheap gimmicky stuff and moving in a more serious direction...

Nutn doesn't realize how he sometimes comes off as cocky or better than. I get past that because he is genuinely a nice guy, I live right by him and I have met him twice. The guy in the video is his good friend and he admits that he is more of a knife user than a collector or novice, he really just knows a lot about Browning that's why Nutn said what he did.

Here is the knife in the awesome tan color, I have this one pre-ordered through Optics Planet.

Sorry to wake an old thread, but anyone have any experiences to share with this knife?

In a word, awful. The Krudo folding thumb ramp makes no sense given that the Krudo curve is not used on this knife. It doesn't open reliably, unlike the SNAG trainer I traded into a few years back. The knife itself doesn't thrust correctly because the handle-to-blade interface is wrong. Worse, the demo videos for the Vanquish show that Wihongi himself doesn't understand how the opener is meant to be used as an impact tool in the closed position. When I had to do some thinning out, this one went into the garbage. You're better off with a Fox DART.
