I've been through a ton of folding knives but none of them seem to have the look and feel of my Browning Model 699 Wind River Folder.. After several years of every day use its still in great shape. My father has commented on numerous occasions how much he liked the knife, and I would like to buy another for him but it has been discontinued for sometime.. I guess thats typical, a company realizes they have a great product and they discontinue it hoping to sell u a different blade that isnt quite as good.
Anyway, I'm curious if anyone knows where I might can find this knife or a knife similar to it. i recently purchased a Browning Model 690 folder right before it was discontinued as well. They both had similar looks but it doesnt quite hold up as good as the Model 699. Any help in finding this knife or one similar would be much appreciated, Ive attatched a picture of it below. Thanks.
