BRT Thunderstorm Kevlar and Hitachi White Damascus

Very cool knife!!! Love the combination of materials! :)

I just finished up a fighter with this stuff. I currently have a love/hate relationship with the brass wires--- it looks really cool, but the darn little things keep popping out on me. I'm hoping I got them all settled where they're going to stay, LOL.

Take it to a high grit and hand buff with a terry cloth rag. The rag will grab any wires and you can work it back and forth until they are all flush.

I hit the handle up on a buffing wheel with no compound and it broke em all off. They really aren't bad, and only stuck out when the handle was still being sanded ( for me anyway) no biggie. Ben you were right when you said its alot like lightning strike carbon fiber.

Very nice! But on a side note how do you like that Ozuku Asagi ? Phillip were thinking of getting one for a polish stone after a kitayama 8k..

The one I have is awesome. It's slow, but extremely hard and fine. This is the second one I've had and is way better then the first one I had. It's more suited for razors IMO but it really does well on the white steel. I'd def. recommend getting one. They are really good stones for the money. I use mine with different nagura stones.

Absolutely stunning knife!! I love your style man, type of blades I hope to be able to start "kickin out" some day. I have such a hard time commin up with my own designs, which is my biggest hold back cause I dont wanna copy other peoples.. bleh, anyway thanks for sharing ;) btw what type of steel is the jacket made of? I seems like a san mai damascus blade to me.

Thanks bro! ;) yeah it's basically just a laminated blade with a low layer damascus cladding. The Damascus is mild steel and nickel.

Finished the sheath. It's stitched with Kevlar thread.
