For sale is Bruce Bump's so-called "lab tech" swayback (#40)

I purchased this gent-size (3" closed) knife directly from the maker in May 2012. Here is the thread from the Folders forum:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...uot-Lab-Tech-quot-swayback?highlight=lab+tech

I then sold it, and recently bought it back but I'm letting it go. It remains my personal favorite but I'm moving away from custom slipjoint carry.

Since back when I originally owned it and since re-claiming it, I have carried and gently used this knife almost daily. It's been used mostly for opening envelopes, boxes, a piece of fruit, that sort of easy work for this tool. I understand from the owner from whom I bought it back, he did not use it at all.

Never sharpened or otherwise altered it, and it's still sharp. I've only cleaned and oiled it.

There are the slightest of wear marks, hard to capture in photos. There is also a truly minuscule "chip" of the carbon fiber scale on the shield side, again, I cannot capture it on film. You will be hard pressed to notice it from most angles of viewing.

Photos here were taken 2 weeks ago. I've not carried or used it since.

I purchased the knife at the maker's price of $399.

Also included with the knife is a Paul Long sheath, made of sharkskin, which Paul custom built with this knife in his possession.

I am selling the Bump swayback AND sheath for $400.

The only trade I'm interested in, is a William Henry Pikatti (I would add cash to the trade depending on the Pikatti).

I will cover the cost of shipping via USPS Priority, fully insured with tracking.

Shipping ONLY with the continental US.

Payment via Paypal only.

My Paypal and email address are the same: jamesgotz@me.com

You must be 18 years or older and I cannot ship to NYC.

First to say "I'll take it" here, or by PM or email.

Thanks for looking.

James
